End Military Funding To Israel
On June 29th 2026, Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) (D-NY) introduced 11 amendments to the Fiscal Year 2027 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). Her main proposal requires all U.S. defense transfers to comply with international law. It halts military aid to countries blocking U.S. humanitarian assistance unless the President certifies compliance and Congress votes to authorize it.
Her NDAA package focuses on human rights and foreign military oversight. The main proposal relates to:
Section 620I of the Foreign Assistance Act: This existing law already bans U.S. aid to governments that restrict humanitarian help.
The Presidential loop-hole: Past presidents avoided using this ban. AOC's amendment forces the President to make an official decision, effectively blocking aid to allies like Israel unless Congress steps in.
Along with Rep Casar (D-TX) and Rep Massie (R-KY), she also supports a separate bipartisan bill to completely cut $3.3 billion in annual U.S. military aid to Israel.
I support the Jewish people and Judaism. I do not support Benjamin Netanyahu and his forever war. I do not take and will not take any AIPAC money or any other money tied to foreign governments, entities, or individuals.
I stand with AOC, Rep Casar, and Rep Massie in calling for the end of existing funding for Israel immediately.
